(Mon-Fri) for ages 8-13, grouped by ages:
Camp Too Sweet is a
5-day, 4-night safe, classic week of camp for children and teens who have Type 1
and Type 2 diabetes. The week is filled with fun and adventure, while helping
children accept diabetes as a part of daily living. Great counselors supported
by licensed health professionals provide an unforgettable week filled with group
games, nature, crafts, music and singing, campfires, swimming, low-ropes group
challenges, creek exploration, hiking camp trails, orienteering and geocaching,
polar bear swims, night activities, and educational sessions on diabetes care.
All campers will enjoy a day of River Tubing on the James River (see River
Tubing description on page 13), and campers Jr High ages and older get to try
our High Ropes Course! The medical team monitors campers’ diabetes care 24
hours a day, and the camp provides delicious and healthy meals and daily
snacks. Education Day for parents is offered on Friday, June 22. Camp Too
Sweet is a memorable week of fun and adventure, and you will develop lasting
friendships. Space is limited; financial assistance available to qualified
applicants. Fee is $350, and you must register by May

Senior High
