Arts Day Camp 6
July 23-27 (Mon-Fri) for rising 1st-5th graders: Welcome to the most fun you'll ever have in one week! Kevin Jones Performing Arts Studio provides professional training in acting, movement, and singing, and each camper will gain the ability to conquer "stage fright" while building their self-esteem. Leadership includes director Kevin Jones and his talented, professional team from KJPAS plus Camp Bethel's excellent counselors. Daily check-in is from 8:00-8:45am and check-out is from 4:00-4:45pm (except Friday at 7:30pm). For $25, daily van transportation is available from the Cave Spring High School parking lot with pick up at 8:00am and drop off at 5:00pm (no Friday drop-off due to performance). Each day includes professional training, practice, rehearsal, a delicious lunch in camp's Ark Dining Hall, and swimming in the camp pool. Daily special activities include a wagon ride, group initiatives, hike to the Big Oak, creek play and face painting, group games, and Friday Splash Festival. Daily practice in acting and musical theatre performance will prepare us to stage and choreograph show-stopping numbers from the Golden Age of Broadway in a public showcase performance on Friday, July 27, 7:00pm at Camp Bethel's Hillside Auditorium. On Friday, pick up is at 7:30pm after our 5:20pm closing family dinner celebration and our 7:00pm performance. All campers receive a professional headshot and their own 8x10 professional acting photograph, a FREE KJPAS Camp Tee Shirt and a FREE DVD of their camp showcase performance!
