2008 VOLUNTEER WORKDAYS
Spring Workday is Saturday, April 4!
Please help! 7:30am free breakfast; 1pm free lunch; RSVP meals by March 31.
Urgent Workday projects (rain or shine; indoor and outdoor) for all skill levels, all ages: Tree work: drop hazard trees-limbs; haul debris; block-haul-split-stack firewood. Several small construction touch-ups & carpentry projects; plumbing repairs; electrical & re-wiring; facility/appliance repairs. Cleaning and readying Gym for Sounds of the Mountains Festival & cleaning cabins-shelters-bathhouses; clearing roofs-gutters-downspouts; de-winterizing bathhouses & shelters; painting; leaves: rake-drag-dispose; clearing trails; moving mulch to areas & spread.
Please bring supplies such as rakes, blowers, drag tarps, chainsaws, wood splitters, safety gear, ladders, gloves, garden & landscaping gear, tools (construction, repair, electrical, plumbing, etc.), vacuums, blowers, flatbeds, trucks (especially 4x4), cleaning gear & chemicals, brooms, mops, rags... and bring some friends! Also, please bring three compact-fluorescent light bulbs, minimum 13-watt.
