Assistant Program Coordinator (18+ with prior camp experience or 21+):
The Assistant Program Coordinator(s) is expected to work directly with the Summer Program Coordinator and Program Coordinator to manage the summer staff and carry out a smooth camp week. Together, they split the week's campers into units, assign counselors to the units, and create a week sheet (schedule) for the staff. Throughout the summer, the Assistant Program Coordinator(s) will enter camper registration information, collect camper waivers, communicate with parents for campers to have the best week possible, address any issues with campers and/or staff, manage weekly volunteers, guide announcements at meals, facilitate miscellaneous activities through the week, and plan any special events during the camp week. The Assistant Program Coordinator is expected to support the summer staff and to be available by phone at all times to address any needs.
No matter how circumstances may change prior to our 2022 summer, we must continue to mitigate the risk of virus transmission from person to person. For this reason, we will continue to implement health-and-safety protocols in 2022. If you can not or will not take these protocols seriously, do not apply.
