Thank you for making our Golf Tournament a success for Camp Bethel!

Thank you for registering your team for our 26th annual Camp Bethel Benefit Golf Tournament, Wednesday, September 23 at Ashley Plantation Golf Club, (919 Greenfield Street, Daleville, VA 24083). This Golf Tournament is an important fundraiser for Camp Bethel. We excitedly announce that 116 golfers (29 teams) and 30 sponsors are registered, making this our most successful Golf Tournament fundraiser ever, even before you purchase Mulligans! Your generosity is inspiring and greatly appreciated during this difficult and uncertain year. Thank you!

Please discuss/share ALL this information with your team members before Wednesday.

For health and safety at check-in, to avoid as many person-to-person transactions as possible, AND to reduce crowd size under the pavilion:
  1. Please pre-pay for Mulligans and/or any fees due BEFORE Wednesday using the button above. Mulligans are on the Honor System, $5 each, 2 per player ($10), max 8 per team ($40). Purchasing the $40 maximum Mulligans per team is a big help to Camp Bethel. If you must pay in person, please arrange for just ONE team member to turn in payments due and/or Mulligans. At check-in we can accept cash, check (to Camp Bethel), or credit card.
  2. From 11:00am-12:15pm, ONE team member pick up your boxed lunches, chips, and drinks for your team. Choose from (A) Chicken w/ turkey bacon and ranch, (B) Smoked Turkey, or (C) Veggie Sub. Drinks include bottled water, Dr. Pepper, Coke, Diet Coke, and Sprite. Eat under the pavilion, or tailgate at your car, or eat on your cart prior to play.
  3. ONE team member check the PRIZE table to see if anyone from your team received a randomly-drawn door prize.
  4. ONE team member pick up 4 paper programs and 4 sleeves of balls for your players. We also have lots of FREE used and "vintage" balls available for pickup.
  5. All other team members can go directly to your labeled carts (or to wherever you choose to eat lunch).

Health & Safety Reminders:
  • Facemasks: Ashley Plantation requires facemasks inside their clubhouse, in restrooms, and under the pavilion. Wear a facemask during check-in and any time you are close to others. Discuss with your team what your cart and mask protocols will be during play. You do NOT have to wear a mask while playing, but discuss what your team protocols will be. Camp Bethel will have extra new facemasks available under the pavilion.
  • Physically distance from others when possible, and especially under the pavilion.
  • Bring hand-sanitizer or disinfectant wipes for your cart/team.Extended check-in and lunch/prize pick-up is from 11:00am through 12:15pm, with shotgun start at 12:30pm.

Range balls are available beginning at 11:00am at no charge. 12:30 "shotgun" start. Captain’s Choice; a noncompetitive day of fun and fellowship.

When play is complete, PLEASE HELP:
1. At your final hole: Bring your final hole sponsor sign & stakes back to the wood boxes under the picnic pavilion at Ashley. Thank you!
2. If you want your team to be considered for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in today's tournament, total your team score onto ONE labeled card, then bring your scorecard to the Camp Staff at the picnic pavilion.
We will email each team leader on Thursday, September 24 with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place team results, as well as the overall fundraising totals for the event. Even before you have purchased any Mulligans,

Weather is looking PERFECT for Wednesday! Remember to apply sunscreen.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for your help and patience as we work to ensure a safe and fun day for everyone. See you Wednesday!

Together, in Christ our hope,

Barry LeNoir

WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING:
"Our son and daughter have been coming to Camp Bethel since they were 5 years old--they are now 13 and 14 years old. We have found that your camp is one of the few that our kids continue to enjoy even as they are older. Other camps (sometimes a lot more expensive) are nice but for some reason the magic of Camp Bethel remains. We also really respect the way that your camp incorporates God and Bible study but in such a way that it is still cool--a rarity these days to find a place were kids can be kids and learn to love God and care for one another in God's creation. Thanks so much for the awesome experience for our kids and the ongoing magic that is Camp Bethel. Thanks, Gina and Chris Engel"
