It’s our best way to beat the summer heat! Your week includes a fun and relaxing morning of river tubing on the beautiful and historic James River, just 6 miles from Camp Bethel. Wellness Retreat: Navigating Relationships from Digital to No Filter

This year’s Wellness Retreat at Camp Bethel will dive deep into the many layers of relationships—past, present, and future. Together, we’ll explore how our early experiences and past connections shape the way we interact today, uncovering tools to build stronger, healthier relationships moving forward.
Through engaging discussions, self-reflection activities, and real-world examples, we’ll focus on:
  • Understanding the impact of childhood relationships on our current interactions.
  • Developing skills for healthy communication and conflict resolution.
  • Recognizing the qualities of strong, supportive friendships and partnerships.
  • Navigating the unique challenges of social media and digital connections.
  • Setting boundaries and maintaining self-respect in all types of relationships.
  • Building confidence to foster meaningful connections both online and offline.

WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING:
"Our son and daughter have been coming to Camp Bethel since they were 5 years old--they are now 13 and 14 years old. We have found that your camp is one of the few that our kids continue to enjoy even as they are older. Other camps (sometimes a lot more expensive) are nice but for some reason the magic of Camp Bethel remains. We also really respect the way that your camp incorporates God and Bible study but in such a way that it is still cool--a rarity these days to find a place where kids can be kids and learn to love God and care for one another in God's creation. Thanks so much for the awesome experience for our kids and the ongoing magic that is Camp Bethel. Thanks, Gina and Chris Engel"
