IMPORTANT, IMPORTANT, IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS!
  1. Alert! A mama black bear and 2 cubs visit our dumpster nightly. When out in the forest OR when out after dark, be as noisy as you can be! Bears are very frightened of humans. When hiking, wear bear bells or noise makers. Do NOT leave food outside!
  2. Parents:  YOU MUST SUPERVISE CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES!  This includes inside the Gym! Check on your children often. We require use of bike helmets for young riders. Equip children with flashlights after hours. No biking after dark without lights. Please note that cabins and lodges have cleaning closets with cleaning chemicals. The best child-safety we have is parent supervision..
  3. Tent Camping: Consider camping in an alternate area so as not to overcrowd the Cave Trail Field. Shelters are for use by EVERYONE, so do NOT camp directly beside Shelters OR between Shelters and Bathhouses. Area map on page 8 of this packet!
  4. WiFi is NOT available. Our internet is for internal, work-related needs. We cannot and will not provide network passwords.
  5. Be certain your participants know and understand the safety/supervision recommendations and the camp rules and policies.

  7. If needed, our AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is located in the Ark Dining Hall.
  8. PLEASE HELP MONITOR THE GYM.  PUT BALLS AWAY; TURN OFF LIGHTS & FANS; TRASH IN CANS; CLOSE DOORS!

WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING:
"Our son and daughter have been coming to Camp Bethel since they were 5 years old--they are now 13 and 14 years old. We have found that your camp is one of the few that our kids continue to enjoy even as they are older. Other camps (sometimes a lot more expensive) are nice but for some reason the magic of Camp Bethel remains. We also really respect the way that your camp incorporates God and Bible study but in such a way that it is still cool--a rarity these days to find a place where kids can be kids and learn to love God and care for one another in God's creation. Thanks so much for the awesome experience for our kids and the ongoing magic that is Camp Bethel. Thanks, Gina and Chris Engel"
