Middle School Moonrise Adventure (for rising 7th-9th graders, ages 12-15)
Sunday 4:00pm through Friday 6:30pm
Week 7 = July 21-26

Middle School Moonrise Adventure 7  (for rising 7th-9th graders, ages 12-15)

Adventure Camp for Nocturnal Teens!
Your 6 days and 5 nights include all the classic fun and activities of regular Resident Camp but with the added FUN of NIGHT ACTIVITIES and living in the Wilson Creek Adventure Village!  Bed time is 2:00am, with wake up at 11:00am, breakfast at the Ark at 12:30, lunch at 5:30, worship at 9:00, and group dinner at your Adventure Village at 10:30pm. Night activities include glow-in-the-dark high ropes & zip line, illuminated swimming pool, astronomy, glow games, night hikes, campfires, and in-depth faith explorations, until bedtime at 2:00am.

Adventure Camps are for “tough” campers who are comfortable living out-of-doors and ready for the next level of camp adventure, and Moonrise Adventure Campers base from the Wilson Creek Adventure Village. You will live in a Unit of 6-10 campers with 2-4 counselors in one of our creek-side Adventure Villages located in our vast and beautiful riparian forest. Each A.V. includes a boys’ hut, a girls’ hut and your dining shelter with fire circle and cooking grill, all by the clean waters of Wilson Creek. Our platform huts have metal roofs and open ends for free airflow. You’ll eat most meals in the Ark, swim in the pool, sleep on bunk beds with mattresses and personal screening (or bring your hammock!), attend all-camp events, and have access to all the amenities and bathhouses of the camp. You and your unit will plan your week’s activities including group games, nature, crafts, music and singing, campfires, swimming, low-ropes group challenges, creek-fun, hiking the camp trails, archery, orienteering and geocaching, slack-lining, GaGa Ball & 9-Square, Morning Watch, Bible study, night activities, special all-camp programs, an evening on the climbing wall, and high ropes course, zip line, and Flying Squirrel.
Learn more about Why, How, and What we do during Summer Camps including a complete activities list. This is a great week of spiritual development, fun and adventure; exploring your extraordinary faith journey and learning TOGETHER! Be here for an awesome week!

* All "Week 7" campers will ride bikes to each of their activities. Please bring/borrow a bike and helmet sized for your camper. If you are unable to bring a bike or helmet, please indicate so during payment using the drop-down menu below.  If your camper is unable to ride a bike, contact our office at [email protected] or 540-992-2940.

WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING:
"Our son and daughter have been coming to Camp Bethel since they were 5 years old--they are now 13 and 14 years old. We have found that your camp is one of the few that our kids continue to enjoy even as they are older. Other camps (sometimes a lot more expensive) are nice but for some reason the magic of Camp Bethel remains. We also really respect the way that your camp incorporates God and Bible study but in such a way that it is still cool--a rarity these days to find a place where kids can be kids and learn to love God and care for one another in God's creation. Thanks so much for the awesome experience for our kids and the ongoing magic that is Camp Bethel. Thanks, Gina and Chris Engel"
